Abc Fire Extinguisher

ABC Type Fire Extinguisher" is one of the most commonly used fire fighting equipment. Here ammonium phosphate dry chemical powder as used as the extinguishing agent which is stored under certain pressure. When the lever is pressed, it releases this powder with force. This can extinguish all classes of fire i.e. A,B,C including electrical fire. However this should be avoided on electrical equipment as it may damage them as it leaves residue after usage. CO2 or clean agent type extinguishers should be used on fires involving electronic items.
