Pitless Weighbridge offer many advantages over conventional type of pit type weighbridges. It does not require construction of costly concrete pit which involves civil work and increases the cost of the weighbridge substantially. While pitless weighbridge is a surface mounted foundation-less weighbridge its decks and ramps can either be concrete or steel.

It is also easy to install and takes much lesser time than pit type weighbridge. As the decks, load cells and other equipments are above the ground, they can be easily accessed and hence easy to maintain.
