Co2 Type Fire Extinguisher

CO2 type fire extinguisher uses co2 gas which is known as a clean extinguishing agent as it leaves no residue after usage. These extinguishers are suitable for Class B and is preferred on electrical equipment since it does not leave anything after being used. It works by releasing CO2 in the gas which neutralizes the oxygen present in the area of fire and hence not only put out the fire but prevents re ignition of fire. Also the freezing temperature of CO2 helps in the process. Because of its many advantages it is a popular type of extinguisher and is ideal for offices ,workshops or any premises that uses electrical equipment. These extinguishers are widely used in commercial places, offices, buildings and industrial areas or places with electrical items for controlling and putting out of fire.
